What is We-Go and what are its objectives?
We-Go is a consortium of e-Gov expert institutions, organizations and companies who cooperate in an EU funded project with the specific focus on enabling public administration in Western Balkan Countries (WBC).
The main objectives of the consortium in the project are:
- Enhancing e-Government productivity through networking scientific and technological expertise and by coordinating an Interoperability Framework;
- Enhancing legal, organizational and technical expertise by networking and assessing demonstrations considered as "EU Good Practices" in order to establish WBC readiness for follow-up project implementations for a selected five Application Domains/Use Cases;
- Building capacity, expertise and skills of human resources and exchanging and disseminating of good practices by establishing "We-Go" Academies based on "EU Best Practices" accompanying the selected applications, methodologies and technologies;
- Assuring sustainability of coordination and sharing of expertise by initiating the "We-Go" Knowledge Net as a WBC e-Government resource network;

- Direct access to well defined strategies and action plans in the field of e-Government enabling public administrations to a leap forward and to come rapidly closer to the EU standards and “Good Practices”;
- Usage of impact oriented project outcomes to get tangible results and join in follow-up projects;
- Networking as Associated Partner with other public institutions and industrial partners and participate in the dissemination activities;
- Share in the planning of further initiatives with the Project Coordinator and participants to develop opportunities;
As the outcome of joining International cooperation for e-Government and e- Participation for Western Balkans countries, on 17th December 2007 Pexim will organize workshop for Serbian Customs Office at IN Hotel Belgrade, Serbia.
