Analyses of IT system at Univerzal Bank a.d Belgrade had shown certain weaknesses that had to be eliminated in order to achieve IS level which was needed from the Bank's side and which is aligned with latest trends and standards put in front of a financial institution.

According to that, the Bank identified a need for improved services and introduction of the new ones. Pexim was recognized as qualified provider of support in this restructuring and consolidation project.

The main goal of the Project was establshing production environment that will enable availability of all Banks's services 24x7x365, by using an advances of Microsoft Windows Server environment, Microsoft SQL Base and Microsoft Cluster Services, together with EMC Disc Systems, IBM Servers and Cisco Network Devices.

The innovation of the Bank's Data-center was completed, Networking Infrastructure redesigned and Disaster Recovery solution established within four moths, with finalization of the Project at the beginning of December 2006.
