Directorate for prison administration is an institution under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Macedonia. This application is intended for prison administration information system, in other words for digital registration of prisoners. Besides the verdicts registration and basic data registration for prisoners, this software allows the registration of all events and documents that are connective with penalty in the Prison (escapes, benefits, absences, labor assignment, health service...).

The application has several modules:

• Registration – forms for prisoners registration that are in escape, use certain benefits, etc.
• Approvals – forms for application approval, benefits and labor approval

• Forms – reception note, release
• Reports – monthly, quarterly and annual reports

• Administration – forms for users, user’s authorization and history

Technical Architecture
The application is developed on Microsoft platform including:

• Operating system – Microsoft Server 2005/2000
• Database – Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2000
• Development tool – Borland Delphi 2006

The application for the Directorate for Prison Administration is installed in the Prisons in Skopje, Idrizovo, Stip and Strumica.
The application will essentially help the prisons in number of tasks:

• Providing data collection mechanism for various information for the prisoners
• Analysis of the prisoners data
• Creating reports monthly, quarterly, annualy and special reviews
• Enables complete and easy data access and simplifying of the work for the employees in the prisoners administration
• Gives an objective oversight to the manager
