“With Pexim Solutions we have established cooperation from October 2003. Pexim has been chosen because of extensive reference list  and offering for complete IT system integration. Also, their Core banking system was flexible and able to be adopted according to our procedures. Today, we can say that we have stabile, unified and  consolidated IT system.”

Agrobanka continued tradition of „Privilegovana Agrarna Bank“ from 1929. Troughout the country, in its network, the Bank has 106 branch offices, 16 divisions, 750 automated workplaces with 780 emplyees. Agrobanka belongs to the top of Serbia banking sector with IT organized in three departments; system and technical support, service center and  planning.

In December 2006, Agrobanka Belgrade and Pexim continued their long-term cooperation with the new contract on IT services consolidation and implementation of Disaster Recovery system. At Agrobanka, Pexim has implemented core banking solution – PUB 2000 and finalized integration of the Bank’s IT system on Microsoft Windows platform using MS SQL data base.

Considering and adopting new standards, the Bank has started implementation of Disaster Recovery site and server consolidation with Pexim as a partner. Development of this Project took lot of joint work and chosen platforms were: IBM  (servers), EMC2  (storage), CISCO (networking equipment LAN, WAN and SAN). Installed IBM server is cluster with two nodes and four processors with 16 GB of RAM. Server is configured to fulfill banks development in next few years. Project Plan covers consolidation of existing servers with Quad processors IBM Blades. This will be first intsllation of  IBM Quads in the Balkans. For central storage system, latest generation of CX-320 from EMC2 is installed.

Procedures for physical and technical protection, which are the standard for banks, have been established, as well as procedures for application software production. All changes on software are done on test system which is phisicaly separated from banking production environment. After finalization of testing, all changes go into production, which gives additional security to the Bank’s operations.
